St. John's took a 32-point lead into the half, then held on for a 78-65 win over Hamline Wednesday night in Collegeville. The Johnnies shot 65 percent from the floor in the first half.

Seth Marx led SJU with 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Marx is now in fifth place all time in career three-pointers made with 146 after knocking down four shots from downtown Wednesday.

The Johnnies are now 9-8 overall and 7-5 in MIAC play.
