The St. Cloud area is seeing labor growth. That according to St. Cloud Economist King Banaian, who joined me on WJON today. He says the St. Cloud area has seen a number of workers come into the area through migration.

Waite Park Police are reporting a garage burglary on Park Meadows Drive where the owner of a garage noticed his garage was open despite him knowing he had closed it. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crime Stoppers says they are still compiling an inventory of what was stolen.

Maple Lake is a town with a population of 2,159 located in northern Wright County in Central Minnesota. Highway 55 and County Road 8 are the main access points to the city. St. Cloud State is planning an open house October 17-19. They are calling it the biggest open house of the year. The event is called "Discover Red & Black" and it gives prospective students a true open house experience in discovering what St. Cloud State has to offer.
