Sherburne County to Approve 2013 Budget/Levy

ELK RIVER -- Sherburne County is expected to pass a 2013 budget and levy which will keep taxes flat and reduce spending.

County Administrator Brian Benson says the preliminary levy does not include an increase, but rather will remain flat at $41-million-800-thousand.

The total budget for 2013 will go down by about $2-million.

The county board is expected to certify the levy at their county board meeting tomorrow.
