“Share the Spirit” of the Holidays with Families in Need

ST. CLOUD - The holidays are coming up quickly, and Catholic Charities is asking you to consider adopting a family in need this season.

The "Share the Spirit" program anonymously matches donors with area families in need of food and presents.

If you volunteer, you'll receive a holiday wish list from your adopted family, and are then asked to spend around $60 on gifts, along $10 in food gift certificates for each family member.

Share the Spirit Coordinator Kathy Sherrard says many area families will spend the holiday season without food to eat or beds to sleep on, so anything you can do to make the holidays brighter for folks in need is very appreciated.
