Stearns, Benton, Sherburne Counties Included In Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 9:00 p.m.
UNDATED - We officially had 1.63 inches of rain at the St. Cloud Regional Airport last (Wednesday) night. We've added another .16" since midnight here at the radio station.
Severe storms are possible across much of central and southern Minnesota this (Thursday) afternoon and early tonight.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9:00 p.m. for several counties in central Minnesota, including Stearns, Benton and Sherburne Counties.
The thunderstorms this afternoon could produce large hail, damaging wind, and a few tornadoes.
