ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud State University is asking the State Legislature for bonding money to renovate an old building on campus.

They're looking for $865,000 in next year's bonding bill to start planning the remodel of Eastman Hall.

Director of Health Services Corie Beckermann says her department would be one of several departments that would move into Eastman, which is currently sitting empty.

Some of the work includes adding a floor, and replacing windows.

If they get the money for the planning purposes, they will ask the State Legislature for an additional $16 million in 2016 for construction.
