Sartell Man Not Hurt When Pick-Up Breaks Through Thin Ice

TODD COUNTY - A Sartell man is okay after his pick-up fell through the ice on a Todd County lake.

The Sheriff's department says the incident happened at about 7:45 a.m. on Saturday on Big Birch Lake.

Roger Kirchner says he was attempting to drive his Dodge pick-up through the rock bar, or narrows, when the front end of the truck went through the ice in about 4-5 feet of water.
