ST. CLOUD -- A 6-year-old boy from Sartell will be fine after being hit by a car Saturday night.

The incident happened just after 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of 32nd Avenue North and 9th Street North in St. Cloud.

Police say a car driven by 23-year-old Erik Stroman, of Elk River, had turned right from 32nd Avenue North heading west on 9th Street North when the boy ran out onto the street.

The boy ran out from the front of a parked car.

Witnesses say Stroman was driving slow down the street when the boy physically ran into the side of the car as it was passing.
