LAKEVILLE, Minn. (AP) - Lakeville police says skeletal remains found in a park are those of a man missing for nearly two years.

Police Capt. Kevin Manias said Friday the remains have been identified as those of Christopher Marc Bellino, a 50-year-old Lakeville man.

Bellino was reported missing in the summer of 2012. Police found his remains in a wooded area in Ritter Park Farm Thursday, after high school students came across a human skull.

Police say there is no indication of foul play, but they're waiting for the Hennepin County medical examiner to determine a cause of death.

Bellino was last seen when he went to dinner with his daughters on July 29, 2012. His car was found 28 days later in a Target parking lot in Lakeville.
