Open Sauk Rapids Council Seat Draws A Lot of Interest

SAUK RAPIDS - There's a lot of interest in an open seat on the Sauk Rapids City Council.

Eleven people have applied for the seat so far. They are: Deletta Theede, Shannon Templin, Dylan Marriman, Hailey Harren, Carol Freihammer, Mark Renn, Mindy Clafton, Jeremy Stockinger, Cathy Sauer, Curt Huntsinger, and Bill Bard.

The deadline is 4:30 p.m. today (Friday).

There's an opening because current council member Brad Gunderson was elected Mayor last month.  The council is hoping to select a candidate for the job in early January.
