Neighbor Helps Catch A Suspected Burglar in Benton County

FOLEY - An alert neighbor helps catch a burglary suspect.

The Benton County Sheriff's Department says they received a call on July 26th at about 12:30 p.m. from a man in the 5800 block of Ronneby Road Northeast in Maywood Township.

The caller spotted a white SUV at his neighbor's home.  He gave the deputies a description of the man, along with the license plate number of the vehicle.

On Saturday deputies arrested 46-year-old George Lewandowski of Ramsey.  He's being held in the Benton County Jail and is expected to be charged with Second Degree Burglary.
