Minnetonka Police Car Rolls Onto Side In Crash

MINNETONKA (AP) - A Minnetonka squad car responding to a burglary call collided with another vehicle overnight.

Police say the officer was turning onto Highway 7 when the squad car collided at high speed with the other vehicle around midnight Saturday.

The squad car rolled onto its side while the nose of the second vehicle crumpled.

Police say the officer is fine, but the driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital.

There's no immediate word on that driver's condition.

The State Patrol is investigating.
