ST. PAUL (AP) — A St. Paul man has pleaded guilty to first-degree premeditated murder for killing and dismembering his wife.

Thirty-five-year-old Steven Johnson killed 32-year-old Manya Johnson after she said she was leaving him and taking their 18-month-old son. He was drinking on Jan. 6 when he shot her in the head with a handgun he stole from her father's house. He then cut up her body with a saw, put the pieces in several plastic containers and stashed them in a friend's garage in White Bear Lake.

Johnson was sentenced to life in prison after telling the court there was nothing he could to do make things better. He said saying sorry will never be enough, and he'll live with the regret the rest of his
