Michael Arthur Alexander, 64, died peacefully at home after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at the River of Life Church in Cold Spring on Saturday April 16th. Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm with services to follow. The service will also be live streamed on YouTube or Facebook (enter River of Life Cold Spring, this may not be available after the service. River of Life Cold Spring also has an app for viewing after the service).

Michael enjoyed sailing, hunting, fishing, recreational vehicles of all types, dogs and his family and friends. Mike was always up for a lively game of cards, badminton, or croquet. Mike especially enjoyed spending time with Lily and going to Leech Lake most of all.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles and his brother, Frank. Michael is survived by his wife, Lily Prince; his mother, Lois Patch; siblings, Diane Alexander, Peter (Julie) Alexander; nephew, Alexander Schieferdecker; nieces, Eloise Schieferdecker, Katie (Chris) Fields and Ann Alexander.

Lily and Mike’s family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses at the St. Cloud Hospital and CentraCare Hospice who provided him outstanding care and compassion.
