Metro Bus to Hold Food Drive at Summertime by George!

ST. CLOUD --Metro Bus is hosting a community food drive today at the Summertime by George outdoor music festival. The food drive will go from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will help benefit Catholic Charities Emergency Services and the Salvation Army food shelves.

You can bring cash or non-perishable donations to the red and white New Flyer Metro Bus that will be on the grounds.

All cash donations received are eligible for a matching grant, up to $5,000 for each food shelf, from Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless.

Last summer's food drive, Metro Bus and partner businesses collected over $600 and 3,000 pounds for local food shelves.

This years business partners include Townsquare Media, New Flyer, Bernick's and United Way of Central Minnesota.
