March Unemployment Rate Ticks Up For St. Cloud Metro Area

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud metro area unemployment rate ticked up a bit in March.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says we're now at 6.1 percent.  That's up slightly from 5.9 in February.  However, it's similar to the six-percent unemployment rate that we had last March.

The St. Cloud Metro Area has a higher unemployment rate than the state as a whole, which is 5.4 percent. And, we're just under the national rate of 6.7 percent.
