Man Arrested For Alleged Stabbing at Motley Motel

MORRISON COUNTY - A Motley man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly stabbing a man in his apartment at the Motley Motel.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says they received a call just after 12:45 a.m. from 45-year-old Paul Eisel of Motley, who told them he was just stabbed.

Officers responded to the scene and Eisel told them he was stabbed with a pocket knife in his apartment by 35-year-old Patrick Smith of Motley.

Deputies found and arrested Smith a short time later and took him to Morrison County Jail. Eisel was taken to Staples Hospital by ambulance for treatment of his injuries.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Staples Police Department and Staples Ambulance.
