The Granite City Lumberjacks routed the visiting Wausau RiverWolves 11-0 on Friday night.

The Lumberjacks scored seven goals in the first period, two in the second, and two more in the third to take down Wausau.

Jonah Jangula netted three goals for GCY, Carson Simon scored two, and Daymin Dodge, Troy Dalheimer, Kearby Larson, Nathan Green, Josh Baker, and Cameron Cromwell each added one.

The Lumberjacks outshot the RiverWolves 59-19. Granite City goalkeeper Nate Johnston earned a perfect game with 19 saves.

The Lumberjacks improve to 9-3 and will host the RiverWolves for game two on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
