Local Technology Conference Educates, Networks Area Professionals [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Technology is always changing, and local business professionals are learning about different topics related to that today.

The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual "Technology and Education Conference" at the Holiday Inn and Suites in St. Cloud.

The conference includes a variety of hour-long workshops participants can choose from, on topics like project management, smartphone technology, and using Facebook and other social media for business.

Andrew Berger is an account executive for Enventis and a conference organizer. He says these are topics essential to local companies.

Additionally, the event functions as a networking opportunity as around 20 area businesses signed up to display booths during the program.

The Technology and Education Conference is in it's 6th year.

The event will be running until noon today.
