The Michigan State Spartans beat the Golden Gophers 65-47 Wednesday night in East Lansing. The Gophers trailed by 22 points at the half and never got closer than 14 points in the second half.

Nate Mason led the Gophers with 14 points in the loss, and Dupree McBrayer added 11 points on 5-10 shooting.

Minnesota falls to 15-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten Conference with the loss. The Gophers will play at Penn State on Saturday morning.
