The Minnesota Golden Gopher men's basketball team improved to 10-2 on the season with a 92-79 win over Nebraska-Omaha Friday night at Williams Arena.

Deandre Mathieu scored 27 points on an impressive 9/11 shooting to pace the Gophers in the win. Malik Smith added 19 points off the bench for Minnesota, and Andre Hollins had 18 points.

The Gophers host Texas A&M CC on December 28th before opening the Big Ten season against Michigan on January 2nd.
