The Gopher men's basketball team lost 82-78 at Nebraska Sunday night after downing 8th ranked Wisconsin Wednesday night.  Minnesota fell behind by 15 in the 2nd half but cut the lead to 2 points with 1 second left.  Malik Smith led the Gophers with 29 points on 8-12 shooting from 3-point range.  Deandre Mathieu added 13 points for Minnesota but he committed 9 turnovers.

Nebraska was led by Terron Petteway with a career high 35 points on 10-15 shooting.  Minnesota falls to 15-6 overall and 4-4 in the Big Ten.  The Gophers will host Northwestern Saturday at 1pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 12:30.
