Gas Cans, Batteries Stolen from Stearns Co. Boats

ST. WENDEL TOWNSHIP - Someone is stealing gas cans and batteries off boats in St. Wendel Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says they've received several complaints over the past couple of days.

All of the boats and pontoons were tied-up to docks or on boat lifts.  The thefts occurred on Watab Lake and Rassier Lake.  It's believed the the thefts happened overnight by someone approaching from the water.
