Freeport Man Wins Special Election in Western Stearns County

MELROSE - A Freeport man has won a special election in westeran Stearns County.

Steve L. Notch wins the race for the open District 5 Commissioners seat.

He narrowly beat Dave Gamradt of Sauk Centre by just 107 votes.

Notch will fill the seat that was left vacant when longtime commissioner Don Otte died last August.
