Fredrick J. Hennemann, 72, Avon

August 29, 1947 - December 14, 2019

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Fredrick J. Hennemann, age 72, of Avon, who passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Deacon Steve Yanish will officiate. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls with full military honors.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Fredrick was born August 29, 1947 in St. Cloud to Philip and Cyrilla (Spoden) Hennemann. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1965. Fred served honorably in the United States Navy. He married Renee Kociemba on September 26, 1969 in Grey Eagle. Fredrich worked as a printer his whole life, first at St. John’s Liturgical Press and then at Sentinel Printing. He was a member and past commander of the St. Joseph VFW Post #5773.

Fredrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was extremely proud of his six grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; children Glenn (Jodi) Hennemann of Sartell and Lisa (Dan) Schaefer of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Jack, Nicholas, Sara and Nathan; sisters and brothers, Phillis Bennet of Minnetonka, Jerome of St. Cloud, Tony (Cheryl) of Woodbury, Jim of Boy River, Sue (Phil) Thompson of Rice, Nancy (Owen) Novak of Sauk Rapids and Rich of Rush City; many nieces and nephews.

Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents.
