Flood Watch Issued For Central Minnesota

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for much of central Minnesota -- including Stearns, Sherburne and Benton Counties.

It will be in effect from late tonight (Wednesday) through Thursday afternoon.  Rainfall amounts between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches, with locally higher amounts are expected.

Widespread flooding is possible with streams, creeks and rivers potentially rising significantly by the end of the week.
