Police Pursuit in Eagan Ends with Fatality

EAGAN, Minn. (AP) - One person has died after crashing his car following a police pursuit in Eagan.

Authorities say officers were dispatched about 1:30 a.m. Friday to a report of a robbery at a Holiday gas station. Officers began pursuing a vehicle without license plates as it sped away from the scene.

Minutes later the driver crashed into a light pole and tree. Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
