Tropical Twist Invitational Gymnastics Meet

More than 250 gymnasts will come to St. Cloud to compete at the annual Tropical Twist Invitational gymnastics meet 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 8 at Apollo High School in St. Cloud. The public is invited to watch these Junior Olympic and Xcel gymnasts, ages 6 to 18, from Minnesota and Wisconsin who train 12-20 hours per week year-round. In addition to the gymnasts, their coaches and event judges, the event will draw thousands of people to the community.
Each gymnast participates in four events including beam, uneven bars, vault and floor. Sessions begin at 9 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Admission at the door is $12 for adults age 13+; $10 for children ages 5-12, seniors; and free for children under age 5. Concessions and Pro shop will be available.
The meet is hosted by Granite City Gymnastics of Waite Park and the Central MN Gymnastics Association booster club — a publicly supported non-profit organization comprised of parents of area gymnasts.
