The Nordic Cultural Club of Central Minnesota and Stearns History Museum are hosting a traditional Syttende Mai Familly Parade on Friday May 17th. The parade is based on the Norwegian tradition of families gathering and walking with Norwegian flags then eating ice cream in celebration of Norway's Constitution Day. Parade registration is at 5:30 following by the walking parade and ice cream around 6:00 at Stearns History Museum. The event is free and everyone is invited.
