A local organization supporting veterans, Shoot For the Troops, will be Tending for a Cause at Beaver Island Brewing. In addition to raising funds through the bartending, they will also be doing a giveaway for a Yeti 45 prize package.
Beaver Island donates $1/pint and $4/growler plus tips to the organization July 22nd from 5-7 p.m.
Shoot for the Troops is a non-profit organization, their mission is to support active military, veterans, and their families deployed or stateside who are in need of resources due to economic or special hardships. Shoot for the Troops hosts a trap shoot event annually to raise funds for military families in central Minnesota. The majority of the money raised from this Shoot for the Troops event has gone to support military families that are in need of a little extra help during times of financial hardship.
