Join the Southeast St. Cloud Neighborhood Preservation Coalition (SESCNPC) at its 11th annual meeting on Monday, November 4th, and hear from Minnesota's National Register Archaeologist, David Mather, and St. Cloud State University Professor of Archaeology and Cultural Resources Management, Mark Muniz, on the history and significance of Talahi Woods and the Beavers Islands. The meeting will include information on the newly established local historic district, the Southeast St. Cloud New Deal-Built Landscapes Historic District, and an update on habitat restoration in Talahi Woods. Information will also be shared on the Statewide Historic Preservation Plan update with an opportunity to provide input on the 2020-2030 plan. The meeting will be held 7-8 p.m. in the Bonn Great Room at St. Benedict's Senior Community (1810 Minnesota Boulevard Southeast, St. Cloud). The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
