Introduction to Centering Prayer
Saturday, August 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Centering Prayer is a simple method of silent prayer rooted in the Christian tradition. This workshop consists of four presentations explaining the method in relationship to other forms of Christian prayer. Each session includes time for questions and discussion. Three 20-minute periods of Centering Prayer are included during this workshop. Eucharist at 11:30 a.m. with the monastic community is optional.
