SPRING HILL TOWNSHIP -- Three people were hurt in a rollover crash early Sunday morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says a passerby saw a car overturned in the ditch at about 2:40 a.m. The motorist went to check on the vehicle where the occupants were trapped inside and yelling for help.

The crash happened on County Road 12 near Merlin Road in Spring Hill Township.

The three occupants, 19-year-old Desiree Ruprecht of Cold Spring, 20-year-old Lindsay Spanier of Sartell and 21-year-old Trevor Spanier of Paynesville were all taken to Melrose Hospital. Ruprecht was ultimately airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital where she's listed in fair condition.

The sheriff's department is investigating the crash.
