Driver Strikes Tree in St. Augusta Crash

ST. AUGUSTA -- Stearns County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash just before 4:00 p.m. this afternoon (Friday).

The crash was located at 24575 County Road 7 in St. Augusta.

49-year-old Roberta Herold, of St. Cloud, was Northbound on County Road 7 when officials say she experienced a medical situation and passed out.

Herold's car struck a tree causing extensive damage to her vehicle.

She was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
