DNR: Make Your Camping Reservations

UNDATED - Camping is probably not on your mind today (Friday) as we prepare for Christmas.  However, the DNR reminds you that you only have through Monday night to reserve your camping site at a State Park, our you'll have to wait until March.

The DNR announced earlier this month the existing reservation system is being upgraded and will be unavailable from December 27th through February 29th.

To book your camping spot for next summer before 8:00 p.m. on Monday, go to the website stay-at-mn-parks.com or call 866-85PARKS.

Overnight stays at Minnesota State Parks and Recreation Areas totaled more than 985,000 in 2010.
