WINONA (AP) - Felony charges are possible against a 15-year-old boy who brought a loaded handgun to high school in Winona.

Police say the high school liaison officer interviewed several students and learned the boy had been bringing a handgun to school for several weeks and had, on one occasion, pointed the gun at the head of another student near the bike racks.

A student came forward after seeing the teen with the loaded .22 in his pocket at school. Police Chief Tom Williams says the boy admitted bring the gun to school and was arrested earlier this week.

The gun was recovered at the home of a relative.
