ST. CLOUD -- A garage fire is believed to be that cause that had a St. Cloud townhome to go up in flame last night (Thursday).

The fire broke out at about 10:30 p.m at 2202 Liberty Glen Loop.

Battalion Chief Jerry Raymond says they believe the fire started from a car in the garage.

Nine people were in the home at the time of the fire, but were able to get out safely.

The St. Cloud Fire Department was able to contain the blaze to the one townhome, however the adjoining unit did suffer minor damage from smoke and water.

Raymond says the fire cause about $100,000 in damage.
