Business Leaders Will Meet To Get Update on Chicago Flights

ST. CLOUD -- The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation and St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce are inviting business leaders to a summit tomorrow (Wednesday) on growing the air service to Chicago.

GSDC President Patti Gartland says it's an opportunity to report back to business travelers on what they've accomplished so far and why the initiative is so important.

The invitees will also hear from Fargo International Airport Executive Director Shawn Dobberstein on their efforts to grow air service.  Gartland says he'll talk about the economic importance of regional air service not only to St. Cloud, but the entire state of Minnesota.  Fargo Airport Executive Director Shawn Dobberstein will also talk about their efforts to grow air service and become an international airport.

Gartland emphasizes that the event is NOT a fundraising event. If you'd like to attend, you can RSVP through the Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be at the St. Cloud Country Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. with a reception to follow.
