Broadside Crash Hurts 9-Year-Old

ST. CLOUD -- A nine-year-old child was taken to the hospital after a crash at 8th Street North and 12th Avenue North this morning.

St. Cloud Police say 35-year-old Jessica Anderson-Theisen of St. Cloud was making a left turn from 12th Avenue onto 8th Street when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The 9-year-old passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Anderson-Theisen was cited for failing to yield.

The driver of the other car, 22-year-old Jacquelynn Schutz of Dawson was not hurt.
