Police Investigate East Side Shooting

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud police say a 28-year-old Minneapolis man was shot in the back early this (Friday) morning in east St. Cloud.

Sergeant Jason Burke says the incident happened at about midnight in the 400 block of east St. Germain Street.

The victim says he was walking on the sidewalk when he heard someone yelling at him, he says he then heard two gun shots.  One of the bullets hit him in the lower back.

Burke says it's not confirmed if the people who yelled are involved.  The victim has not been cooperative with police.  He is at St. Cloud Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Police have no suspects and have made no arrests.
