FOLEY -- Benton County is joining in an effort to safely dispose of prescription drugs later this week.

Sheriff Brad Bennett says they will take part in the DEA's National Take Back Initiative.

Benton County citizens can drop off unused or unwanted prescription drugs at one of three locations, no questions asked.

The drop-off times will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th. The drop-off locations are at the Benton County Sheriff's office in Foley, Rice City Hall and the Sauk Rapids Fire Station.

All prescription drugs will be taken, however, needles, syringes and other sharps will not be accepted.
