Authorities Respond to Turkey Barn Fire Near St. Joseph
ST. JOSEPH - Area fire departments responded to a turkey barn fire in St. Joseph.
The fire was reported at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the barn is located at 31247 County Road 2 in St. Joseph.
There are no reported injuries and there were no turkeys inside the barn at the time. The building has significant damage and is considered a total loss.
The barn is owned by 58-year-old Pete Rothfork of Grey Eagle. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
St. Joseph, Waite Park and Sartell fire departments all responded to the incident.
