3 Men Attempt to Rob Liquor Store at Gunpoint

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud police are looking for three men who tried to rob a liquor store in East St. Cloud.

The incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. on Friday night at the Knotty Pine Liquor Store in the 10 block of Northeast Wilson Avenue.

The three men walked into the store, one of them had a handgun, which was pointed at the employees.  The employees struggled with the men and fought them off by throwing items at them.  The suspects ran away from the store.

Officers tried to locate the men with the help of the Benton County K9 unit, but did not find them.

The employees suffered minor injuries.
