St. Cloud, Foley American Legion Teams Continue State Tournaments

UNDATED - The St. Cloud Chutes American Legion baseball team won their first game today (Sunday) in the state Division I tournament. They eliminated Eagan with a 10-6 win.

The Chutes have another game at 5:00 p.m. today (Sunday)

The St. Cloud Chutes American Legion baseball team won a pair of games yesterday (Saturday) to stay alive in the Division I state tournament.

The Chutes beat New Ulm Gold 7-1 in their first game.  Then, they beat Alexandria 21-6.

On Friday the Chutes lost their first game, but won their second.

Meanwhile, at the Division II American Legion State baseball tournament down in Luverne, Foley lost to Plato 9-1 last (Saturday) night in the state semi finals.  Foley is playing for 3rd place today.
