SHERBURNE COUNTY - A Zimmerman woman was seriously hurt in a two car crash on Wednesday morning.

It happened just after 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 169 and Main Street.

The State Patrol says 48-year-old Frisco Keobounpheng of Milaca was traveling south on Highway169, while 85-year-old Anna Bursch of Zimmerman was stopped at the stop sign to go east on Main Street.

Authorities say Bursch accelerated from the stop and hit Keobounpheng in the southbound lane.

Bursch was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Keobounpheng was taken by ambulance to Fairview Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, Zimmerman Fire Department, North Ambulance and North Aircare.
