Zimmerman Man Hurt When Motorcycle Hits Deer

ELK RIVER - A Zimmerman man is hospitalized after his motorcycle collided with a deer. The State Patrol says it happened just before 4:00 a.m. this (Friday) morning On Highway 10 near Elk River.

Fifty-year-old Bradley Mootz was heading west when he struck the animal.

He was taken to the hospital in Coon Rapids with non life-threatening injuries.
