Zimmerman Man Arrested with Alleged Drugs

ZIMMERMAN - A 45-year-old Zimmerman man has been arrested for alleged drug possession.

The Sherburne County Drug Task Force arrested Thomas Kolstad last Thursday.  Investigators spotted Kolstad driving a car and knew that he didn't have a valid driver's license.  Kolstad pushed the investigator and tried to run, but was caught after a short chase.

While searching Kolstad, a small zip loc bag containing alleged methamphetamine fell out of his pants leg.
