ST. CLOUD - Hotels, restaurants, and stores in the St. Cloud metro area will all be especially busy this weekend.

The St. Cloud Area Youth Basketball Association is hosting their 25th annual "Quarry Classic" tournament on Saturday and Sunday.  They have a record 296 teams coming to town, that's up significantly from the 242 they had last year.

Tournament Director Jake Welch says they'll be using virtually every basketball court in town.

Welch says thousands of players and their families are coming to town.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau is helping teams find hotel rooms.  Kelly Sayre says they're booking teams in hotels in Monticello, Albany, Becker and Little Falls.

Sayre estimates the weekend tournament will have an economic impact on the St. Cloud metro area of over $2.6 million.
