The Yankees beat the Twins 7-3 Tuesday night at Target Field. The loss is the third straight for the Twins, who fall to 36-44 on the season.

Sam Deduno started for Minnesota and lasted six innings. The righty allowed three runs on five hits with one walk. Reliever Anthony Swarzak allowed four runs in one inning including a three run home run by Robinson Cano.

Cano has hit three home runs in two games against Minnesota in the series.

Aaron Hicks returned to the Minnesota lineup and was 2-4 with two runs scored, while Oswaldo Arcia and Ryan Doumit also had a pair of hits in the loss.

The Twins and Yankees will match up again Wednesday at Target Field. PJ Walters is the scheduled starter for Minnesota against Yankees ace CC Sabathia.
