Xcel Crews Work To Restore Power to Over 5,000 Customers

ST. CLOUD -- Xcel Energy crews are working to restore power to customers in St. Cloud, Sartell and Sauk Rapids.

The utility company says over 5,000 customers have been without power since 2:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Sartell police says the outage is affecting the stop lights around the city including PineCone Road at 2 1/2 Street which causing traffic backups.

The company says they expect to have full power restored by 4:30 p.m.
